Jenson Button blamed a loose wing for his Q1 elimination in qualifying at Silverstone. While Fernando Alonso made it through to Q3, Button dropped out of the initial qualifying session in 17th. The British drivers car was compromised halfway through his flying lap and McLaren was unable to fix it and send him out again in the closing moments of the session.Explaining what happened, Button said: The rear wing became detached through Turn 8. It just slowly deteriorated from there with the rear end of the car, so yeah we lost a lot of down force and that was it really. We tried to fix it to go out again but there wasnt enough time. There was some confusion about whether Button had actually been eliminated in Q1, as the 2009 world champion ran back to his car at the start of Q2 as the FOM broadcast showing replays of Kevin Magnussen exceeding track limits at certain parts of the track. Though numerous times were deleted over the course of Saturday afternoon it Button said the stewards were unable to do anything once Q2 had started.Asked if McLaren would appeal it, he said: It doesnt matter now. It was either challenge for Q3 or be where we are now so one place doesnt really make any difference. Its a shame they couldnt do something before Q2 starts but as soon that Q2 starts its game over for us which is a shame. It doesnt seem very lucky, this weekend for me, Its been tricky with issues all weekend.Button has never claimed a podium in 16 attempts at his home race and admitted the Q1 confusion was further proof of his bad luck at Silverstone. No it hasnt [been kind], race day it has more so than qualifying but well see what we can do tomorrow. The weather is mixed, tyres are interesting, especially in these cool conditions.Id much rather had been 11th, just outside the top 10, I think that probably a good place to be but were 17th, very unlucky. Unlucky they didnt make a decision on Kevin before the end of Q1 as well.Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Cheap Real .Y. -- Buffalo Bills coach Doug Marrone has drawn on his Syracuse connections once again by hiring Rob Moore to take over as receivers coach.
